Global Shout donated $4000 for 189 students in Tudun Wada, Nigeria
Global Shout donated $4000 for 189 students in Tudun Wada, Nigeria, to cover their secondary school annual fees and college placement exams. The students, comprising SS1, SS2, and SS3 levels, attend the local secondary school in Tudun Wada village, where Global Shout built a well for clean water in 2019. The annual school fees for SS1 and SS2 students were paid in full to allow their parents to focus their finances on other needs such as food, water, and shelter, which are more expensive by the day due to Nigeria’s struggling economy and limited earning opportunities. For the SS3 students who are nearing graduation, Global Shout paid for their WAEC college entry examination fees to provide them the opportunity to qualify for further schooling at universities depending on their test scores. By providing this financial relief, it is our hope that the students will find relief from external stressors and focus all of their time and energy on their education to achieve all of their goals and dreams.

About Us
Global Shout is a U.S. based 501(c)3 tax-exempt (EIN#: 85-2382286) non-profit organization originally founded by students at Georgetown University in 2005 as Global S.H.O.U.T. (Students Helping Orphans in Underprivileged Territories). After an early focus strictly on the education and care of orphaned children in third world nations, the organization underwent a gradual shift in scope of humanitarian work, expanding beyond the university and dropping the acronym, with a full rebranding in 2019-20, now operating projects internationally of varying type and purpose.
